Volunteering at Collegiate

 Hello everyone,

I wanted to be sure you received the email from Collegiate yesterday with a note from Jill Mountcastle, Collegiate School Parents’ Association President 2015-2016.  I have copied a bit of it here with the link to volunteer.  If you'd like to get involved with the Parents' Association and Collegiate, this is a great way to do so.

Let me know if you have any questions!  Hope you are having a wonderful summer.

Anne Bruce

Dear New Parents,

Welcome to the Collegiate community! We look forward to getting to know you and your family.

Volunteering at Collegiate is a great way to meet people and to get involved in the life of the school. We would love to know what volunteer opportunities are of most interest to you. To check out the many ways you can help and indicate your preferences, please go to the Parent Volunteer Page on the Collegiate website:

Be sure to look at volunteer opportunities for Campus Support, Fine Arts, Special Events, and Village Green Fair, in addition to the three school divisions. Please try to respond by August 1 to enable our Committee Chairs to plan for the upcoming school year. You can come back to the Parent Volunteer Page at any time to review or change your volunteer choices.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or if I can help you in any way.  I hope you have a fun summer, and we will see you in the fall!
Sincerely,

Jill Mountcastle

Welcome to our family!  Thank you so much for choosing Collegiate for your child. We know that there are many excellent schools in the Richmond area, so we are very grateful that you have opted to join the Collegiate family. You have so many wonderful times ahead of you!

Throughout the summer, we will use this blog to provide you with information and helpful tips and suggestions that will help you get excited for Junior Kindergarten.  A variety of different Lower School faculty and staff will post information, so keep a lookout.  You should receive an email notification whenever something new is posted.  Please feel free to ask questions, and we'll do our best to answer in a future post or directly to you.  We are thrilled to welcome you as the newest members of our community.

Thanks to so many of you for coming to our welcome party on the playground.  We loved seeing all of you and hope you and your children were able to start making connections.  The Class of 2029 is such a GREAT group!

Happy summer!

Sincerely,

Anne Bruce Ahearn
